After 10pm it's free. There are 2 parking garages in the neighborhood, one on Morton Street, accessible from 7th Avenue ( go past Bleecker Street to Morton Street). It's on the left. Another parking garage is on 3rd Street, East of 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas).

Words at Waltz
Michele hosts a monthly poetry series at Waltz Cafe in Astoria. It usually runs on the last Monday of the month and includes a feature and an open mic. Previous features include Melinda Thomson, Tim Suermondt, Andrey Gritsman, Ilene Starger, John Jenkinson, Nancy Haiduck, Dean Kostos, Nina Karacosta, and Mary Maria Golias. Though she's approximately 102 in dancer years, Michele will be performing in Waiting Room at Soundance at the Stable the weekends of January 27th and February 3rd. The piece, choreographed by Vanessa Paige, will be one piece in an evening of dance and performance. Michele's taking it on the road. She reading at the POETRY ON THE LOOSE reading series in Middletown, New York on Saturday, February 4th at 8pm. The series includes an open mic and will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church. The church is located at the corner of Main and Orchard Street near the heart of downtown Middletown, New York.

This is the first in a free reading series that will be hosted by Michele on the last Monday of every month.
